It also says that existing EHIC cards issued before the Brexit cut off will remain in force until their expiry date, at which time they will be replaced by a UK Global Health Insurance card. It must be true, Boris said so. However there is currently no information about this new GHIC.

It should be a blue one. Very cheap looking I'm told though, but then it is printed by a French company in Poland.

This is my new passport. I think I was one of the first to get a non-EU version so newer ones will probably be blue.

Mine's the same, non EU burgundy, but my friend got hers about a week before me and she has the blue one - personally as long as it gets me through border control I couldn't clare less what colour it is

As I understand it, even if something has been imported from the EU into the UK, it still needs to be certificated for its return. It may of course been tampered with (adulterated with branston pickle for example).
