Thick end of £5k for a 12 year old small block? I know they're nice but that looks a bit steep to me. There are newer big Brevas or V12s for less money.

I've been contemplating getting a Bellagio for some time. They don't come up that often but when they do, the prices seem to be in the £4,500 to £6,000 range. I don't know if this helps, but the one on ebay is also on MGCGB Marketplace with an email address and mobile phone number.

The Ballagio is a big block. Closest to a Cali. but 940 cc. and with the CARC rear end. Not many about.

Someone more knowledgeable than me said it was an attempt to tap the Hardly Ableson market but then it was killed off by European emission controls. Don't know if that's true or just an urban myth?... Brian UK?

I've heard and read the same in a couple of articles. My understanding was that it was supposed to be pitched directly at the Harley Sportster. |

I could be wrong but it will be a better bike than the sportster. I always think the rear cyclinder on Harly's will run hot.?

Don't know about the Harley connection, but yes, it was killed off by EU etc. emission standards.

I don't know anything about Harley's, (or anything else for that matter) but I seem to remember reading somewhere that the rear cyclinder is designed to run hotter. If you haven't read it already, you might find the following article of interest |

That design has been around for so many years, I'm sure Harley would have factored that point in by now.
