There's a guy on the Adventure Rider Forum (and others), username Xlrator.

He will send out maps if you contact him and ask nicely.
No charge, but it's good 'form' to offer a donation.
He'll decline it anyway, but may direct you to an Animal Conservation Charity his Daughter supports.

His maps are primarily for the two-Lambda Models, but he has adapted/modified some for the single-Lambdas.

He's reluctant to send those out yet though, as they've not been tested.
I'll be loading one to mine as soon as I get a chance, will report finding here.

He can also tailor them for your particular needs/desires, e.g. more economy, less 'pinging' on dodgy fuels, more accurate Speedo reading or Odometer reading (seems you can't have both for some reason), accurate mpg readout, etc.

If you go onto the ADV Rider Forum (tons of good stories/info/tips etc), there's been a lot of feedback about his Maps, and all highly positive.

Good to hear.

Finally got round to uploading the Map John Brooks sent me recently.

Didn’t know what to expect to be honest, as I’ve always felt the Map it’s had since I got it has been pretty good.

There’s definitely a slight improvement low down, it was OK before, no harshness, hesitation, or flat-spots anywhere, but it feels ‘crisper’ now right from 2000rpm.
It’s hard to describe, but it just feels a little more urgent when pulling away.
It pulls pretty well from 2000rpm in top, whereas before it was never really happy to do it from less than 3000.
I don’t make a habit of it, it’s just a little test I do when looking for faults in the fuelling.

Mid-range and top-end seems about the same, but it’s always difficult to notice small differences.

I still need to do a TB Balance, so there may be a little more smoothness to come still.

I need to tweak the Speedo correction figure still, it's still under-reading by 5mph or so.

Have you balanced the throttle bodies and reset the TPS?
Brian.

Better 5 minutes late in this world than years early in the next.

As Brian says Trisaki, start with the basics.
Loading a different Map won't improve the running much if the Throttle Butterflies are out of synch, and/or the Throttle Position Sensor needs resetting.

Give it a full service first if it's getting close to needing it.
Air Filter condition and Valve Clearances particularly can affect low-speed running.
Worth running some Fuel additive/cleaner through it as well, to make sure dirty Injectors aren't affecting it.
