Ok, a bit disappointed at the lack of response to my offer of a bunch of V7 service parts at a give away price as these are parts which I obviously wrongly assumed that any experienced motorcyclist would find useful to have in stock.

One reply from Chris, asking about what I’m planning to replace the Classic with.

Our bins get emptied on Thursday and if no one wants my stuff by then the bin men will find the lot sitting on top.

Maybe your ad copywriting skills are partly to blame, you likened the lot to "an old toothbrush found behind the toilet" !!  "£ 60" !!  ErmmSmile

Bob, the advert has only been on for less than a week, not everyone comes on everyday, I would give it a bit longer.
Also I'm pretty sure if you sit them on top of the bin the bin men aren't allowed to take it.

And not everyone has a V7 and of those here who do, and who need what you have to offer, not all of them are in a position to collect from W. Sussex. You have kind of limited the audience a little!

Stick them on ebay as separate items with a 99p start. Then give the proceeds to charity.

As others have said, I don't have a V7 and even if they were V50 parts would probably only want some of them.

I understand the V7 may be somewhat under represented on here but they are out there. Beside you wouldn't have thought that a bunch of people who are willing to pay good money to spend the night in a muddy field under canvas eating burnt sausages would baulk at riding a few miles to the seaside to save themselves a bob or two!

The local charities have benefited from me many times to the extent more than half of the things I previously owned are now in their warehouses! They ain't getting the spare parts as well. Don't worry, the bin men won't let them go to waste.

Last 3 bikes I sold I also included all and any parts I'd got.

If I lived a bit closer I'd pop round Bob, but I'm up in Nottingham...

Oh, and I think my rear pads are different (they changed the rear caliper for V7 II).
BTW I didn't think Guzzi still used paper rocker cover gaskets? I use those rubberised metal gaskets because they can be used over and over and over... Highly recommended!

Perhaps you could be tempted by the new Enfield? Looked good when the Missenden Flyer tested it recently.

All the best, Pete.

Well, jolly good for you and have a sweety. I sold it to a dealer and thought I'd give a another Guzzi owner a chance for some bargain bits.

I'm having a test ride on one next Wednesday.

The pads and gaskets afaik  will suit a Breva 750 too  in case that broadens the appeal  slightly...

Link to rear pad number applications ( I can't see the EBC number on the front pads)

Just a quick reminder... V7's from 2013 onwards require FA256 rear pads (2-pin fixing).
