I've just come in from the shed for a celebratory tea break having at last got the horrible nasty Greeves Challanger I'm working on to run.(I HATE TWO STROKES )
So decided to have a play with the features on this forum which as yet I haven't explored. I've enabled BB codes and was trying out font sizes, colour, italics etc.If I select Size and type in the text box that works fine, But how do you use more than one feature at a time.If for instance I wished to type"TWO STROKES ARE THE WORK OF THE DEVIL" In large type,in red and underlined, how would I go about it?
It's just curiosity on my part y'understand.

Yeah, that works.  Highlight what you want to fiddle with, then click the buttons.

In the BB code selection box when I place the little white arrow over a colour for example it wont select. It changes to this symbol, I.That's actually a capital i but it looks the same.
Should I enroll at night classes?

First of all if you use the reply button rather than the quick reply, you get more options.
To do what you asked, there is no need to go into the BB codes box, they are all at the top of the reply panel.
The fount type and size are fairly obvious. The easiest way to use them, plus all the other bits like italic. underline etc is to type the item, then drag the cursor over it to highlight it, then click on the appropriate button. The Letter A with the black line under it is the colour selection. Click on it then select the colour you want.

Size, Colour, Italic, bold, underline.

You can also have the text centred

Left justified,

Or right justified.

What are you using, a computer or phone?
With a computer even in the quick reply, along to top of the reply box you have spell check, link, smiley, bold, italic, underline, colour and a funny odd shaped box with an arrow in it which takes you to the full reply editor. And of course the ? which tells you more.
On a smart phone, you get mostly the same, but not the spell check, but you do get an envelope icon which allows you to add a live email address.

Couldn't resist trying this!
Or this! There's three elements at the top of the reply box: Font, Size and Colour.

Nope. The layout you have shown Mike is different to mine.I don't have the underlined A nor the A to the right of the underlined U nor spell check.
I'm doing this on a PC Brian.I don't have smart phone.
I think it's appropriate that I just stick to monochrome. After all,me bike's black and white.
