I'm not sure that I should be asking this here, apologies if I shouldn't.

Has the MG owners club website gone down again or is it just my computer causing me problems?

If it be considered too much of a coincidence were my computer to be stricken by the same malady as yours then it's true that a pox assails said oracle.

There is no problem asking things like that here.

Hope they can get it sorted.

Well I suppose the website is a fairly static thing so most just look at the forum.

It was unavailable to me a few weeks back, and I reported it... to an apparently complete lack of interest. I was told that the members don't use it, preferring Facebook.

Which startled me a little, since the site is where one finds "Member Benefits" - which is what I went for to check, along with Branches (locations, contacts, and dates), Joining instructions, the Renewal page, Events, and so on.

Lost the plot a bit, it seems. Facebook is good as a natter and 'social' place, but it does not serve the other functions that a well-maintained site does.

They never seemed interested in the Internet side if that's what it's called.

So a Club on Facache must appear really exclusive.

+1 George.  I joined as it gets you a free dating certificate from Mike Lacey which I needed for my Falcone.  Don't think I'll renew.

The MGCGB website and forum are both up and running at the time of posting.

The MGCGB Facebook page is useful for sharing photographs and getting quick turn-around on technical questions.

I joined for same reason then found out you only get one dating certificate per year for free, will pay £20 dating fee in future same cost of joining so no benefit
