Hello everyone.....I have a 1968 Moto Guzzi V700, very cool bike. One of my carb floats has a leak -- the carbs are Dellorto SSI 29 mm with remote float bowls. Does anyone have an idea on where I might find a float for these carbs? I'm having trouble finding one. Thanks!

https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-OEM-DUCATI-DELLORTO-SS1-CARB-FLOAT-

There is a brand new SS1 float on ebay at the moment from "Henry's Motorcycles" but I can't get the link to work.
Welcome to the forum and good luck. Photo's of the bike maybe?

Thanks Dave P. I'm in the process of trying to see if that is indeed the float I need. Thanks again for the reply, I appreciate it!

I will soon post some pics of the V700.

Hi Chris, the carb float is 3.8 mm wide, 3mm high. On top it says "Gr.14" and "Dellorto".

Thanks, let me know if you have one. I'm new to forums in general -- don't know how to do a PM.

In case you need to resort to the Ebay item, it's described as being a
GR14 for a SS1.

Thanks Dave P. If they both look like the right float I'll probably buy both.

My apologies, Robert. My float is larger diameter than that. I must be off one of the earlier carbs

Those dimensions seem just a bit off...
