Let's keep this thread alive - I'm after one as well, what have you got out there?

Worth looking on the Moto-Guzzi club they have a for sale section, nowadays likely to come up on Gumtree/Facebook before E-bay due to the e-bay charging system, there are always Guzzi Californias out there they range in price tho' from £2500-£5000+ for a loaded EV/Vintage in excellent condition ... Bear in mind a "Reasonable" one with no luggage will, if you have to buy the racks and boxes add well over £1000, I have noticed the 1400 range are now often popping up and are getting within the range even less than a nice T3 Cali.... well worth spending time researching, make sure you get a ride on one Many who WANT a Cali buy them and cannot get on with footboards, there are models with footpegs, to convert one costs an awful lot more than it will be worth, bear that in mind

Never use Brittany Ferries. We use Transmanche (DFDS) between Newhaven and Dieppe. They are still running and if you book by phone, over 60s get a 20% discount.
Brian.

Thanks Brian I have used DFDS in the past but with the Brittany Ferries club voyage discount and shorter distance from Caen to our place there is little difference in cost, and it’s shorter time wise overall.

Also my wife prefers the restaurant on the Mont Saint Michel - so I don’t have any say in it really Ouch

PM. your email address and I will send you some photos (the file size are too big to post on the forum)

Price wise I am not sure🤔 bearing in mind it’s in France with no mot since 2014. Has been used up until last year though, till I took the battery off and put it on my lawn tractor

You would be more than welcome to come over and collect when this madness is over        Cool

I have a 98 Cali EV with 26k on the clock which I am considering selling once this shut down finishes. It comes with all the luggage (including top box which isn't fitted at the moment), new tyres, fork seals and battery. Located in Wiltshire.

Wrongly advertised though.

It isn't an EV, it's an 1100i and there are some notable differences.
California 111 70th Anniversary Model, California 1100i 75th Anniversary Model, Honda ST1300

I wouldn't buy an 1100i for any money. Too many horror stories.I'd have an 1100 carb all day long but not the FI version.

Funny I had an 1100i for many years toured all over Europe and commuted on it about 40 miles each way each day.

Probably the best bike I ever owned, never any trouble except when the front mudguard fell down going through the Alps, that was interesting.

I don't think any model of any bike is worth a big up or a berate, I think it is purely down to the owners experience of it and how well they look after it.

Funny old world
