I think We Should Be Told.
Waterproof power socket (cigarette lighter style) for satnav or some other plug in device. You can see the rubber plug at the end for when not in use.  clearly angled down so as to not hold water.

Of course!
Why am I so suspicious?
Makes sense.
I see they've increased the price too...I'd reserved it at £3500... was tempted but not quite right for me.

Thanks for thinking of me.
That's the one I was talking about in my last posts....it's potentially ok but it crystallised my thoughts about which Cali I really wanted...an 1100i.
So rather than have something not exactly right I passed on the purchase.
Once again though I appreciate you and others  keeping a lookout on my behalf.

How frustrating.
Decent looking 1100i Special  has appeared on eBay...as a trike!
Sacrilege.

The one in the eBay link is injected.
I think?

Yes it is and I think is quite a decent bike.
What it doesn't have is footboards and the comfy seats.
My previous Cali's have decided me that these features are important to me.
I've been looking again at the 1100i that's on eBay with the horrible pod filters ( sorry if you're a fan of those) and 56 k on the clock. Its got potential but I'm still uneasy at the miles...I know others think differently.
I'm humming and hawing a bit ..advert expires tomorrow so I'd better reach a conclusion before then.

If it's the black and cream one at £2950 then it has footboards

Yes... I've just messaged him.
I think it's Ed from Gutsibits.

I did wonder about the coincidence of it being in Huddersfield . . .  If you've established comms then that takes the time pressure off for the ad ending.  Also means a 'deal might be possible. If it is related to Gutsibits then he could probably find you a second hand oe filter box too!

The reason many inc me put K&N filters on is they really do help make a big difference and use the K&N cleaner/oil good for 1000's of miles ..... saves money in the long run ..... a very very good option
