If it's this piece of the linkage you need, Stein Dinse does an excellent replacement which takes all the slop out of the original fixed rod.  The wear on my original rod and eye was significant giving a terrible amount of free play in the mechanism.  With the replacement rod it bolts rigidly at the top end.  Bottom end there are 2 hole options for the clevis pin.  The outer one on mine was truly oval so I've switched the inner one.  Hopefully this will also give a shorter action

Thanks for suggestions and they are helpful, but Ken Guzzibear....you assume that you're communicating with someone who's mechanically competent!!!! Bent then snapped the long 6mm rod on the heel/toe shifter when I picked her up for the first time.Lots of slop/false neutrals completely alien to me but left foot a bit heavy as well.Whole linkage feels sloppy and needs a look-at.Floor-boards on Cali completely bizarre and threw me, but....getting into it...love the fast-tractor feel of the Cali.Pulls the Charnwood easily...Nearly 40 yrs with bikes and grinning with the Guzzi...
