The panel on my 1200 Sport misted up now and then. I drilled a small hole in the back of the binnacle to let the condensation out and never had further issues.

A couple of years ago I followed the guide on this forum and took my '06 Norge clocks apart because of misting, it has simply not been a problem ever since.
I rode the Norge 900 miles in 48 hours of mostly pouring rain earlier this week, with 2 nights parked out in the rain with no cover, then a good wash and there's not even a hint of misting up.

Thanks for the tips everybody. I'm sure your all right and its condensation not a leak. As i've bought another bike for winter, I will provide some ventilation for the instruments.
