For reasons best known to themselves BT have been blocking this forum thro` their broadband security, despite me having no parental controls activated or switched on.
They must think your all a danger to my delicate disposition and that your leading me astray

I'm on btinternet. No problems.

But what browser are you using? For some silly reason Firefox doesn't seem to like this forum, you have to declare it safe.

On the other hand, regarding the leading astray, they could be right.

One of my emails is a little risqué.

It's accepted everywhere even parliament.

BT are the only place that blocks it.

It's apparently because their filters are so wide because they get so much abuse as a company.

I had Firefox complaining that passwords here might not be secure and that other people might be able to see what you write. Confused
Did have one other complaint about the same thing. But that might have been some add on for FF, not the base program. My copy is no longer bothered since I had to restore factory settings on FF which removed add ons.

Yes the BT email spam filter is set too wide, I turned mine off because I was losing stuff I wanted.

It seems the problem was in my home hub despite me not having any filters on so simple switch it on and then switch it off has seemingly cured the problem, but nevertheless a PITA

Had it not worked then that would have been my next move, but I suspect `a hard reboot` means something totally different to me ie size 11s

Some years ago my wife had a pal (Scottish) whose sister was an Astrophysicist with NASA.

Wherever she went she had a shadow.

I don't know why they were worried as they both were Convent girls

I used to wind her up and ask her where she had put the latest Tonka Toy, Mars. Jupiter Uranus.

One day I asked what she did if it didn't work when it was on the planet.

She said "switch it off and switch it back on again"

So that's what I do with everything that doesn't work
