Wonder if they managed to get the weight below 3/4 ton?
Brian.

I believe you can reduce weight by fitting LED lights instead of conventional bulbs, they probably have done that; in saying that, the grey paint looks heavy so it may have negated any weight loss that was gained by changing bulbs.

Good job we are all different because I think it looks sufficiently rugged in the same way that the Enfield Himalaya does. I admit the headlight/cowl could be tidied up but again, it is distinctive unlike most of the machines I see riding towards me these days. I usually have to see them close up if they are one of the UJM types before I can work out what it is! (I confess that may be partly my age and general befudlement as well) No danger of that with the Hardley.
It is a bit like Thunderbirds, the animated tv series. As a youngster, my favourite was Thunderbird 2 the ugly one. I must be a bit odd because I bought a CX500 which everyone else thought was pig ugly too. I say I am not a sheep, not interested in following the herd, fads or fashions (my dress style gives that one away- those kipper ties will be back in fashion one day I assure you!) others  might think I just have poor taste!

It may have a mother to love it, but I'm not so sure what fathered it.

Battleship grey (gray!) How apt. As Chris says, it's a good job we're all different. Otherwise who would buy all the MZs?.....I'll get me coat, again.

Ebay could not organise a piss up in a brewery
they are only interested in money
they even charge a percentage of my postage ?? and I dont use their system
recently I tried to complain about a cretinn who had 15 consecutive pages of the same crap, each one slightly different listing the same bike,
its nearly impossible to complain who need to copy the adverts  and post them, but if the teenage mongtard has made a very slight variation ie moto guzzi breva red and then blue you cannot continue with the complaint
its like they want to fill pages with crap

I've tried reporting a couple of scammers in the past and, like you say, it takes all day then tomorrow they are back with some more. Frankly I think Ebay should send hit squads round to the address and 'fix' the perpetrators, there are probably relatively few for the agro they cause. Now I just think people have to be responsible for their own foolishness. Having said that I know someone in the VMCC who fell for just such a scam. You have to start with the understanding that Ebay is not the place for bargain bikes.

I've found reporting scam ads very simple - you just press the "report ad" button on the listing then answer 3 questions. The ones I've reported have disappeared within minutes.

Same. And I understand that good reports from reliable sources help to 'train' the system.

There are some optimists about. But there are also some idiots so sometimes their optimism is justified.

But it's "very rare" too.

Lots of gullible people out there.
