Might I suggest that a pneumatic air pump driven lift system could work better? The sort of tyre pump compressor that works off the battery could be a starting point. Even simpler could be an adjustable mechanism as used in office chairs.
V7 Classic Black and gold was the best. But green & black was nice too. Now blue is in!

There is an idea the chair pump mech BUT I think that is a fairly long mechanism, wonder if it could be adapted? may need a horizontal hydraulic reservoir to a lift, look on Martyns Bargains he sells the hydraulic pump that operates the hydraulic bike lift SO it could operate some sort of scissor lift.

if you look at Martyns site he has the ATV ones as well I have the 1000lb bike lift works fine on the 1000 and 1100 bikes The ATV one is much wider i would not have the space .... Had my lift for 5 yrs no issues whatsoever smooth up and most importantly down ....Martyn was real good to deal with .... will deliver but with Ray's help we fetched it Martyn loaded it onto trailer so it was the right way up to take out of the crate.

It is on little wheels and has stabilising feet ....
