Anyone else signed up for the Shropshire Bike 4 Life event this year? A ride to raise funds for the Midlands air ambulance. I only saw one other Guzzi there last year which also happened to be a V7. It is only a fiver in advance but an additional donation is always welcome, see http://www.bike4lifefest.com the route is from Shrewsbury to RAF Cosford, Sunday 30th April. Give me a wave if you see a grey V7 wobbling down the M54. Chris

I went on the ride out in 2014 and 2015 on the Griso, went straight to the show last year on the Benelli.

I'll most likely go to the show this year but skip the rideout.

These pics were from 2014 (Griso) and 2016 (arrival at Cosford on the Nelli).

Current: Griso 1100, Sport 1100, Zontes Panther 125.

Severn Valley branch of Guzzi club had a stand last 3 years, but won't be there this time because date change clashes with something else. Gazebo blew away last year!

Well, I hope the weather stays reasonable for tomorrow's Bike4Life. I am up early to get up and get out out to take the shine off my new set of tyres before tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing any forum members there that aren't suffering from hangovers after the rugby then!
Had the tyres fitted by Sticky Jim from Shifnal, marvelous service and a nice guy.

Lots of waiting around at the start, but lots of banter too. Seemed to be fewer lunatics on the ride to Cosford this year. Stelvio parked right behind me so a brace of Guzzis in the line up. Picture of my son, his uncle on a trike and neighbour John on his fazer. Didn't cath up with Ken sorry, but the qeue in to Cosford seemed t
o last forever. An ageing v50 in front of me seemed to be struggling with the stop start traffic and indeed my v7 didn't seem too happy without an airflow to provide cooling. So after a brief stop for a pee, coffee and a look at the BMW/triumph bike stands we left for home. Did see my daughter who was on duty as a police cadet so it was a bit of a family affair. Hope everyone else who went also enjoyed it - at least it stayed dry

I was there on my V7 Mk11, slow start with a bit of chaos getting in and out of the start point, but a great ride down the A5 / M54 to Cosford once we got going.
Saw a few of other Guzzi's, one as a "rat" bike.
Great ride, good show, reasonable weather.
Bloody cold when I set of this morning at 7.30 !
Great camaraderie, at the event and on the roads getting there this morning.
Alan.
