Fair enough.  The project that I was accumulating before I bought my Le Mans would not be any use to you then as it's in boxes scattered across the length of my garage!

The problem is you will always find something which needs tweaking.

Ruf, he is currently away in the Scottish Highlands visiting relatives for a couple of weeks and I know for a fact that there is very limited Wifi / mobile reception at his location so please don't think Rob has ignored your post.

Looks like the bike is now on Ebay unless I'm mistaken and it certainly looks tidy

Hi ruf, thank you very much for posting the info, have a wee tick in your thank you box!, unfortunately I was away and not able to do much to try and get some info on the bike. I did, however get a friend to contact the gent through ebay but the seller was unable to provide a telephone number for me to get in touch. He  also mentioned he was not aware that it was on Guzzi riders, but I'm sure he was happy with the extra advertising, thanks again.

Glawster mentioned, "16 months and you still haven't found one!  How hard are you looking?"

I have indeed bought another  Guzzi since my original posting, my Bellagio, but I would still like an older one, BUT it has to be correct for me, the correct bike, at a price I am happy with, I'm not going to pay over the odds for something I think, or  know needs a fair bit of work, on the other hand if something is worth a wee bit extra because it's lovely, I'll go for it!, and believe me I have been looking!, thanks for the concern though,  I'll know what I want when it appears, I don't mind a bit of fettling either but with constantly doing up bikes for years I've feel I've done enough of it.

Sixteen months in the scheme of things isn't that long when looking for what you want, it took me 27 years to find my wife and even at that there was some fettling required!

No, he must be selling all those other bikes for the same friend, same contact email given in all ads.

Has it been reported?
Brian.
