You can connect them in parallel but never in series.
You will need heavy leads because the starter draws a lot of  amps. You can cobble them from jump leads but whatever cable you use need to be capable of handing the starter current of conservative estimate 125A, with more on surge, i.e. at least as thick as the battery cables are.
Having a dead bike battery won't help, remove it and just substitute the car battery in the chair.

It won't hurt the alternator but the alternator may struggle to fully charge the car battery due to its big charge capacity. It needs a much higher charge rate (amps) than the bike battery. It's not really man for the job but it should manage well enough.

Bike battery  - As it's not holding charge you really just need a new battery.

I know of a Triumph that got back all the way from Cornwall with a dead alternator with just a car battery strapped to the rack.
