Looking for some Alloy Carb inlet stubs to convert my T3 from 30mm square body Carb to 30mm PHF round body type, this carb has a male connection to the flange for the rubber type connector as opposed to the female on the square type carb, I think this type of inlet stub came off maybe G5 or 1000 Spada, T5 or maybe Mille GT , the vacuum take off is positioned on the stubs flange.

Cheers

You can run a 6mm thread insert down the 8mm bolt holes on the head and then use standard parts from the LM1/2 instead of the special ones with the flange retaining bolt-holes opened up.

Not sure if this mod is easily reversible as I've never gone back

Thanks Gianni

Would just like anything to convert to the rubber mounted Delorto's, i can fit waisted studs to the head to overcome the bolt problem.

Thanks Chill

I decided to go with the plastic 30mm stubbs, keep the PHF carb as standard and run it like that for a time to see what difference that would make if any, will maybe have a go at boring out the carb etc if theres no real improvement, but from what info i've gained the pumper should make a difference from the standard carb, we will see, it will be a while yet tho as she will be off the road till next Spring Embarrassed

Just out of interest Gianni, what have you done to your bikes carb set up and what bike is it ?

Cheers
