Gents - thanks for the comments. Yes looks good in the pic but it had however developed quite a bit of corrosion around the battery plate and surrounding frame and there was no way of fixing except to strip and recoat. Don't forget it sat around for decades. Its taken me 3 months to dismantle and catalogue and order parts because many of the nuts were corroded. The calipers and brakes lines were a bugger to pull apart. Anyway almost there now. As I said I am restoring to as original as I can and have had to source parts from US and EU. Will keep you posted but it will be slow progress.
